If anything, this latest "Kids React" video from The Fine Bros makes me want to pick up an old Apple for the kids, so they can learn how to use computers the proper way. And by the proper way I mean oh my god I'm my dad. We saw them cringe when they learned what a Walkman was, and now the infamous little kids are back to learn about more old technology. The Fine Brothers’ YouTube series called “Kids React” almost never fails to amuse, but a new installment was published on Sunday that is particularly hilarious. Titled “Kids React to Old Computers,” a group of young children are shown an old Apple II computer one at a time. Then, they react.
As usual, the kids can't even imagine what life was like in the 80's. The kids were told to turn the computer on. Most kids gave a "um, seriously?"
The Apple II you see in the beginning of the video is a big reason you—and probably some of these children—now carry iPhones in their pockets. So bow down young ones and behold what Steve hath wrought. We won’t spoil too much, but one of the best lines in the video comes after the kids play an old shooting game, which every single one of them pans except for one young girl who exclaims, “At least it’s better than Flappy Bird!”
